Morville Church will not be holding a May Day Festival in 2019. It has been decided to give the event a rest for this year. We would like to thank everyone who helped, sponsored and supported the event last year, and in previous years. We are looking forward to holding the Morville Festival again in the future and in the meantime we hope to provide updates on future Morville Church events on this website.

Tea, coffee, cold drinks, sandwiches, sausage rolls and home-made cakes will be served in the beautiful historic setting of St Gregory's Church from 11am until 4.30pm.

Enjoy a cup of tea and slice of home-made cake, then take time to look at the flower arrangements or the local history boards and children’s exhibition inside the Church, or sit outside and soak up the atmosphere of the festival.

Our visitors always compliment us on the wide range of sumptuous local, homemade cakes and savouries, coffee cake, Victoria sponge, clotted cream scones, carrot cake and lemon drizzle to name but a few.

On Monday we will also have hot pork rolls from Alderson's local family Butcher and artisan ice cream from the Shropshire Ice Cream company, worth a visit in themselves!
